I'm enjoying Hilary Mantell's latest tome. Katie surprised me yesterday by copying out the words on the cover. Weird to see such sinister words in cute smiley-face letters!

Later on today, I met up with Marchmont for a Filmhouse evening - dinner, set the world to rights, see a random film. Great stuff, the film turned out to be "Even the Rain", a great mix of morality tale and action adventure set in Bolivia.

In other news, I had some hands-on time with a Nikon D5100 which is looking like my new toy some time soon-ish. Flippy-floppy screen and all that. :)
