You nearly got a sun-drenched shot of a picturesque canal boat gliding under a picturesque bridge on a picturesque canal. It was all very...what's the word? Picturesque. There was sun flare and a subtle overexposure that conjured up, brilliantly, if I say so myself, everything that is magical and good about an English Summer's day. It was so good that I am already feeling nostalgic about it. They don't make days and pictures like that any more.
