Delivery Girls
Mrs jml wants to take some flowers round to a neighbour, and she also wants to keep Jess & Molly on their leads when she walks them around the farmer's field.
One solution, obviously, would be to ask either Jess or Molly to carry the flowers - but I rather suspect that this solution would not work!! Next solution - Mrs jml parks the flowers inside her trouser-belt, rather like a pistol in its holster.
And so the delivery girls set off on their rounds.
================
Yesterday's Blip showed Jess with a bandaged paw after having been given an anaesthetic. Molly, of course, had to top that, although it was not captured on film.
A neighbour was taking out her wheelie bin. Neither of our heroes like these bins, but usually it is Jess who makes most fuss. This time, hewever, Jess was still feeling under the weather - so Molly jumped up and down at the gate, furiously telling the neighbour that she had no right to be wheeling a bin along there.
Unfortunately, she came down in such a position that she jammed one of her paws in the gap between two vertical slats in the gate. She was left hardly able to touch the ground with her rear paws; and with most of her weight supported by the jammed paw. Her screams could have been heard on top of the Law, and as she struggled she was just wedging her paw tighter in the gap.
We both came running as fast as we could. Mrs jml supported Molly's weight while I forced her paw up and out of the gap. I had to use a lot of force, and I was worried that I had damaged, even broken, her leg.
Thankfully, Molly quickly recovered and shows no signs of lasting injury. But it gave us all a fright at the time.
Jess, too, had her bandage removed this morning and is none the worse for wear.
