A beautiful sunny day ....

spent at Mugdock Park north of Glasgow.

I spent 3 hours in the glorious countryside of Dumbrock Loch photgraphing the wildlife and scenery, the painting of the remainder of the garden furniture put to one side for the time being.

There were plenty people picnicing on the shores and cooling off in the water but the area was relatively quiet compared to the more popular lochs in the area.

It was the first time I had visited the area and I will definately be back.

Stopped of on the way home for dinner in a popular roadside restaurant outside Blanefield, courtesy of no 2 son. Sat outside in the garden and had a good meal with good company.

Must plant up my hanging baskets tomorrow night!
