Damstredet, Oslo

Took a step into the past today - Damstredet is about all that's left of an older era of Oslo. The buildings were mostly built from 1810 to 1860 and the street has remained well preserved since. I'd heard of it but only recently stumbled across it, much to my delight. It's a lovely surprise to find in a fairly unremarkable residential area where most of the buildings are apartments from the early to mid 20th century.
