The Golden Fleece

So the power outage in Holborn screwed up plans to see Swan Lake but luckily there were Shaun's to find and at Liverpool Street there were friends to find too. The girls reaction to seeing each other was lovely a big grin each and then a running hug. Really lovely as they have only met in real life once before.

So the morning and a little of the afternoon was spent searching for Shaun and finding him, although the first one foxed us for a while. This is 'The Golden Fleece' at Canary Wharf which was the last one we found. The girls liked looking at themselves in him as he acted as a mirror. I liked this photo because you can see all four of us and can see the look on Katie's face looking at Carys.

We departed at Canada Water as Katie had three more Shauns to find and we were going to visit Decathlon for inline skates. It was lovely to see both Karen and Katie again and see how well the girls got on again.

After successful shopping in Canada Water we headed to Liberty as Karen had tipped us off that they were doing a kids Easter Egg hunt. Carys was well and truly introduced to Liberty. She was amazed at the wooden stair, the lighting in the centre of the various levels and the pretty dresses in the children's department. This was topped off by the goody bag she received when she found all the Easter eggs - a jigsaw, a torch and a R'Belle My First Jewellery bracelet. Wow! She was a lucky girl. What a fantastic day.
