Ball

Today was the Heythrop summer ball. Attended by black-ties, cross-dressers, cape-wearers, fathers, nuns... where we forget sewing up dresses two hours beforehand, all pretend to be posh enough for the venue, the chaplain is a legend, and a dinner lady gets a hearty bout of cheering in the speeches. And a good time is had by all.
