Britain's biggest buttercups

I was stuck for choice today, having taken a trip in the heart of the Trossachs, on the steamship Sir Walter Scott on Loch Katrine. But I opted instead for a photo of some globeflowers, the giant buttercup species Trollius europaeus, probably the biggest buttercup species in Britain. We spotted these a few weeks ago on the banks of the River Teith near Callander, but before the flowers were open. So we stopped by the same spot on the way home from our boat trip and found that they have now opened. They are magnificent!
