Prometheus

Hi ho, hi ho...it's off to work we go (all together now...) Hi Ho, Hi Ho

Back to work today after the jubilee weekend and a great day to walk to work. Do y'know, I'm actually enjoying my yomping down to work (and back...which is UPHILL, in case I hadn't mentioned that bit before) each day. Mind you, I got soaked to the skin - literally - on the way home and had to completely change out of my sodden clothes as soon as I got in. Then it was just time to towel-dry my hair, patch up the make-up and grab a quick bite to eat before walking back down into Guildford to go to "the pictures" with Mr A. So that's the journey there and back TWICE today - shame I haven't got one of those FitBit gizmos yet (it's on my wish list) as I bet that number of steps would have been impressive.

Anyway, off we trooped to the cinema to see Prometheus in 3D. There we sat with all the other members of the audience, each of us looking like a geeky-Joe 90 character in our funny little glasses. Still, it was a good film and a very rare evening outing for 'im and me.

So my blip for today is the much-blipped offices along the river just by the cinema, which we had to pass to walk home. Not a bag little shot considering it was just with my phone in very poor light...

P.S. On my walk down this morning, I spotted a chap carrying a hooded eagle or falcon (or somesuch bird, but you get the idea) on his hand...now where on earth would he have been going with that at 8am in the morning? Perhaps I should have stopped him to ask...?
