Shenavall Bothy
Between Dundonnell Forest and Fisherfield Forest, the bothy at Shenavall is a brisk two and a half hour walk from the nearest road and much longer if you are backpacking with the unavoidable heavy rucksack. The grandeur of the surrounding hills adds to the remoteness and a sense of isolation which is unique to the far north west of Scotland.
