And we wondered why it was raining!

I took this photo before we set off on the "26 miles in the rain" Edinburgh Moonwalk

Third "Full Moon" for me, first "Full Moon" for Ali (but she has done 3 half moons as well)

We arrived in torrential rain, we waited in the tent, in torrential rain, we set off, in torrential rain, we walked up Arthur's Seat, in torrential rain.

We saw PeopleTwitcher and DailyWanderings at mile one as we strode past in the rain. That was a good moment.

The rain stopped at 1am. That was a good moment.

We made excellent time for miles 10 to 16. That was a good moment.

I got a dodgey muscle twinge at mile 18. That wasn't so good.
Had to stop and stretch every mile after that. Not so good.

Seeing PT and DW at mile 23 was a FANTASTIC moment even though they were in charge of a crossing and seemed intent on getting everyone run over .. I managed not to snivel and beg to be allowed to go home ;-)

Miles 24/25/26 are best forgotten. Slow and painful. But Ali stuck by me and we finished together, 8hrs after setting off.

An eventful evening.
