Blipping the Battle...Proms!

B joined us for the excellent Battle Proms at Hatfield House on Saturday. A wonderful evening of music,  displays of horsemanship,  fireworks and of course a chance to put one's feet up and share a picnic with good friends.

This blip was taken during the playing of Beethoven's Battle Symphony during which over 200 cannon's are fired and fireworks are set off in time to the music...quite a spectacle...and very topical as this year is the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo.

The extra photos shows one of the mounted infantrymen and two ladies enjoying the late afternoon sunshine.
