Trial Run

It's been another dull day, so I've been pottering about indoors after 2 days out and about. My photo class assignment this week is around art; last week it was impressionism; this week we have a choice so I thought I'd try something based on Magritte, of whose work I'm quite fond. This was a quick attempt to see how easy or hard it was to do this technique. I concentrated more on the lining up of the image rather than the exposure or composition, but the result was better than I expected. I decided to leave the final version for another day, hoping it brightens up, but notes to self:
- move the bins
- go for a greater depth of field on second image
- be more meticulous in lining up the images
- print the first image on better quality paper and settings
