If you're squeamish, look away now!!!

So, after a phone call to the vets this morning, Harvey went back in for scans on the mysterious lump.

It turned out to be an abcess which required draining and scraping out to clear away any residue gunk. Gross right?!

So, the poor boy now has a kiwi sized hole in his chest and we have instructions to wash it out twice a day and keep it clean. It sounds much easier than it is.

Thankfully my sister will be doing most of this, I'll just have to stand in when she can't.

Back to the vets Monday for a progress check...
