Giving Blood = Ginger Nuts!

This evening, Jenny dropped a bombshell.. we were going to give blood! Now, obviously giving blood is not the most difficult or arduous task but I'd never done it before & it was very very scary!

Needles to say we went down to one of many local churches where the donation was being held & we did our bit. It was quite busy & we were there quite a while, but it all went fine & was a really good experience. One nurse was quite stern, they're always mean & sticking needles in me! & a lot of the others all seemed to be called Janet, just an observation. We made the most of the crisps & ginger nut biscuits too, it helped sweeten the deal!

As a treat for our bloodletting we made Gok's Beef in Black Bean Sauce, yum! Wok On!
