Old & New

These two games have been bought for Mark on separate occasions. These are proudly in our living room waiting to be played with at anytime.
Isn't it funny how timeless games such as chess have now been created in so many different ways & shapes. I have seen some very "geeky" versions which no doubt a certain someone would like too.

Then there's "Top Trumps" as I know it. Its probably called lots of other names across the country. This game was massive in the 80s if I remember rightly. All different types of trumps & many an hour was played with my mates & I either at school at break time or after school.
Who needed the Internet or Games consoles!!

Another great gift to Mark this Christmas from Sam. In true Marvel fan form we got the X Men to go against each other.

So the next time you pick up your phone to play Candy Crush why not reach for an good old fashioned one if you have one. If not why not invest.

August is birthday time so Geek style chess boards are being into (maybe)
