Dancing the Sardana
The Sardana is the typical dance of Catalonia.
It is danced in Rondos. The dancers leave their belongings in the center of the wheel, hold hands and dance slowly, counting the steps with great care.
As I was photographing this group in a festival in the Plaza Catalunya, I heard a man who claimed his partner, "you were the one who missed the step".
This young girl joined the group, as many others did, to avoid losing the opportunity to dance in the square.
