Not a fledgling

I spent ten minutes hopping around my front yard chasing a frightened fledgling with my camera and all I got was odd images of leaves with something small, brown, furry and blurred hidden behind them!

Plan B was to head into the back garden to see what I could blip there: no fledgings there, but instead this rather nice flower (weed?) It looks like a forget-me-not to me, but I'm not sure. Anyone know?

In other news: I reinstated my gym membership today after a two-month suspension due to my hideous workload. Here's hoping that my 16% reduction in fitness recorded this evening will soon be eradicated.
