Shack Bay, late afternoon.

Shack Bay is a gorgeous little bay about 15 mins drive from home, part of the protected Bunurong Marine and Coastal Park. There is a huge amount of steps leading down to the beach :( - well worth the effort though. The bay is sheltered from the prevailing SW swells - great for secluded swimming and sunbathing during summer. The sun was peeping through in patches occasionally and it needed some patience to stand around attempting to nail down a patch of that wonderful yellow light. There was a couple of young women who had taken a few layers off and were walking repeatedly up and down the staircase leading to the car park. Bloomin' good on them I reckon. It was a lovely afternoon walk.
