Hanwell, in the rain...

Left Saltcoats in the morning, bathed in strong sunshine, and arrived in London to warm, damp smirr. Hm.

And that was before travelling on the Piccadilly line - which was warm and damp, but thankfully, no smirr. Overpacked tubes - not something I've missed, these last few years away from London!

This may be an emergency blip because the day was spent travelling: but don't let that take away from the fact that it's a lovely garden. From it our hosts produced lettuce and herbs :-)
