Morning Revelry

I was out in the back garden before 8:00am today, hoping to get an early blip. It's lovely being in the garden that early, as there is still dew on many of the plants and usually fewer breezes than later in the morning, making hand-held close-ups easier to shoot.

The convergence of sunshine, shadows, roses, and clouds looked like a party to me, quite appropriate for Kendall's birthday. Here's a close-up of your birthday nosegay, dear friend!
