I knew that Olympic organisers did not allow long lens cameras into the venues as I'd seen a list of restricted items on a news page a few weeks ago. Disappointed, I resigned myself to the fact I was going to have to borrow a bridge camera, use my compact & kiss goodbye to the 12 fps of my SLR.

But then last night Clare sent me a copy of the advice that came with the tickets & that lead me find this page. Out with the tape measure & I found that my SLR & long lens is only 29cm, result!!
