Hjaltastaður

So this is my 300th blip. I wouldn't have believed it 200 blips ago, but here it is and the only things there are three of - are crosses - what else!

This is Hjaltastaður, Hjalta's Place, and here we come each year about this time and take our vacation or a part of it. The house was built for the doctor of the Shire - this is the land of the Hobbits - and he came here in 1927.

I like to make long stories short and this one is that The Good Wife's family now looks after the place and keeps it in good order and instead we can divide the time to stay here for a week - so this is kind of the Manor of her family.
