The rest of forever...

Quibbling over an inch or two...

So the new routine is established. I like routine! (more of that later!)

This picture is of a shopkeeper. The Nepali government have decided to widen every road to 5m. This means that all the houses, shops and garden walls in the way have to come down. This shopkeeper has been forced to take down the front of his building by hand and rebuild the entrance a few feet back. Painstaking work to recycle the bricks and start bulding a new wall. The city streets are chaotic with rubble, earth and resulting in some homes losing their front rooms...now sitting in half-rooms facing the street of traffic.

So...the rest of today! I was woken with a cup of tea, completed the foam roller, stretching and mobility work. Paul ran whilst I did extra stretching before breakfast...and as he headed to work, I headed to the gym! Completed a workout that one of my trainers set me before we left...out here it took me three minutes longer...hot, sweaty and no competition to gee me up and make me go faster!

Walked home, drank protein shake, showered and sorted photographs for my course. Paul came home for lunch and in the afternoon I headed out to take some shots for my next module...colour. I found two shots but I also found the guy I've described above!

Met Paul at the gym this afternoon for session number two. Cooked our dinner...yup, back in the kitchen, no more meals out for a few days! and now settled in front of the Olympics...diving is good!!!
