Visitors!

VIP visitors for lunch - LadyG and Beewriter made room in their hectic schedule to pay us a visit.

LadyG has made several visits to the Athens of the North, and STILL she doesn't bring the right clothes! In fact, she chooses to believe a weather app which predicted sunshine all week, and set off from London without a jacket of some sort!!

However, despite the less than summery weather today, they were in good form. I must say, LadyG and JR have very good taste - they both wore the same top. With corresponding red beads, rings, toes etc. JR hid behind Archie and hoped nobody would notice. Which they wouldn't, of course, had I not pointed it out...

What a palaver it was getting this shot set up of for each blipper. I don't know if I'm mid-getting up, or mid-sitting down (Archie doesn't know either), but it'll have to do.

Beewriter was a bit wary of Archie (all dogs) at first, but they came to an understanding after his noisy yappy 'welcome' - to look at each other from as far across the room as possible.

Unfortunately, LadyG ran out of time to trim our hedge as promised - she suddenly remembered she had a pressing engagement in town.

Lovely to see you both, ladies, and I do hope the weather app turns out to be not complete and utter bollocks.
