Falls of Feugh.

Just over 3 years ago, on our first date, M took me to the Falls of Feugh to see the salmon jumping; I absolutely loved it and today we decided to take Mum and Dad out that way so they could see them jump too. We got up, and I tidied the flat and did some baking (another pineapple up-side-down cake for Dad) while M was at lifeboat training. When M got back, we had some kaffe og kake then M took Dad for a drive out to Banchory in the Porsche since it was sunny enough to have the top down. One of my favourite restaurants is Milton of Crathes, just outside Banchory, so we headed out there for some lunch.

After lunch, we drove out to the Falls of Feugh and I took this shot (see large for the salmon!), then we drove back on South Deeside through the sunshine. When we got back to Aberdeen we popped into M's Mum's shop where she sells lovely home0made macarons, then back home to the flat.

M and I made a lovely Hairy Bikers chicken, ham and leek pie for tea, which was even better than out last attempt, and we all settled down to watch an episode of Still Game with a glass of wine. Saturday perfection.
