The back door

is normally plain and utilitarian. I don't think this could be said of the 'back door' of Blair Drummond House.

The grand rear staircase leads down onto the terrace which encircles the rear and side of the house, overlooking the safari park. Further stairs give access through an archway and down to the garden.

Tomorrow, if the weather holds, we are having the first barbeque of the summer on the terrace lawn. The residents love to socialise and we normally have barbeques almost weekly over the summer months.
