Day Three
Of this week's painting class. This was the first day we actually left the city to try our hands at painting en plein air. The day was cool, the wind was strong, we had our artist teacher to help us select an appealing view of Saskatchewan's very flattest part.
It was a challenging wonderful day. The wind tipped easels and water containers and sailed away with canvases. One of our classmates has a special prairie painting t-shirt now because a gust whipped his wet palette upside down against his stomach.
