Sway Tower

This is a local landmark, a 218ft (66m) high tower which apparently is the tallest non-reinforced concrete structure in the world. It took 5 years to build and was completed in 1885.

It was built by Andrew Peterson who made his fortune as a judge in India. He retired to the New Forest and decided to build a monument to himself!
