Last days of summer

After a day of unremitting rain yesterday the wind has blown away the weather front and the sun is winning. Soon the cattle will be confined to  byres as the ground becomes too wet. So great to see them roaming free on the pastures below the Campsie Hills with the first hints of autumn colours. (Extra: Turning my lens on the patio, there is still a colourful display of agapanthus, hydrangea, geraniums, Peruvian lilies and heathers.)
