Fire Eating Jester

We have had the most fantastic day so far these summer holidays! We took a trip to Framlingham Castle for their Knights Tournament event. It was absolutely fantastic!
We have seen archery competitions, practise fighting, demonstrations with real weapons, a performance by Peterkin the Jester (which Mr FS got picked to be involved in - it is always him!! lol) and the grand melee, the last tournament of the day.

We walked round the top of the wall, had a picnic lunch by the mere, Arwen had her picture taken with the Knight of the North as well as the Knight of the East, Sir Robert. Her favourite he was! She was also bought a bow & a quiver of arrows (with suction cups on the end I'm pleased to say!) and she now tries to shot anything that isn't moving :D

Brilliant, brilliant day - I can't recommend it enough.
