A "Lemon" of a day

The day began without incident, just your usual Monday morning, beginning of the week, head-off-to-work-again kinda day...

Except for Adam, who has been coughing and spluttering for about a week now, and had the day off school...

Oh, and my elder son, who is all clogged up in the head, and headachy...

Ah yes, and my husband, who, along with Adam, has been cough, cough, cough for the last week...

Hmm...and guess who had a sore throat yesterday as well? Yep, with the family dropping like flies, as a result of the latest cold bug that is doing the rounds, how could I avoid it?

Well, when all else fails, I do have lemons! A hot lemon drink, with a big spoon of soothing honey, is just what the doctor ordered!

The day turned extremely sour later in the day, when my daughter Emma was involved in a high speed car accident yesterday afternoon, on her way home from work. She's basically okay, thank God, apart from a large bump on the back of her head and a body full of aches and pains. The accident happened on the freeway. Cars in front of Emma came to an abrupt halt, she stopped in time, but unfortunately the three cars following her didn't! The main casualty of the accident was Emma's little car, which we have been told is heading to the big car graveyard in heaven.

Sorry about posting another back-blip, but last night my heart just wasn't into going on the computer at all.
