The Latest

We put up the Christmas Tree this afternoon, then I did the decorating. 

My blip is the latest addition to our collection.  Over the years when travelling we try to buy something for the tree - pretty much self explanatory, the shop assistant wrote the name and date.  We also got a variety for our grandchildren with their names on them.  Every Christmas I give them a tree decoration with the thought that by the time they leave home they have got a nice selection from Nana.

Incidentally, the two baubles seen on the right were bought in Hama in Syria, after staying in Aleppo the previous night.   I think of the country now, heartbreaking. They are very precious.

Other than that we did a walk this afternoon, now watching cricket on the telly.  Poldark later in the evening.
