THE SAGE

was the appropriately named rendezvous for my lunch with meles! It was lovely to meet up again, as we do two or three times a year. The two of us go back more than 40 years (eek!). She kindly treated me, as it's coming up to my birthday, and we toasted the occasion as well as raising a glass to two old friends who have decided to tie the knot after 20 years together.
