Mono Monday 153 - Speech

FlyingPRGal has set the challenge for today's mono Monday on the theme of speech.  Quite a challenge.  I searched my bookshelves for something appropriate to get my mind going and found this book, 'Fowler's Modern English Usage'.   This revised edition was published in 1968, so not so modern perhaps, but has long been a speech writer's go to book.
