Opera in The Open

Today was the last Opera in the Open of the summer. I had forgotten it was on but quickly realised what was going on when I saw the crowds around the corpo's performance space, shown here in a previous blip.

I'm enough of a philistine that I'm not ashamed to admit that I haven't the faintest what opera they were performing, but it was great stuff! The gentleman/ghoul running towards the camera had just made a very dramatic exit. He'd barely left the stage before some other guy was making a play for his woman!

I was also impressed with the crowds, especially as most were sitting on the very damp ground.
