Tiny Blackthorn blossom ......

....... in the sunshine.

Thought this would be a good entry for Tiny Tuesday with all the tiny flowers ..... thanks to Freyjad for hosting :-)

Had a walk up to the little wood nearby ..... first time I've ventured up there this year. I was pleased to see signs of Spring ..... as well as the Blackthorn beginning to bloom ...... there were large patches of Lesser Celandine* (I think), the first few Cowslips & the birds were singing.
The only problem was that the wind had suddenly risen ..... so getting a decent photo wasn't easy ..... but it was a lovely walk ...... even if my hair did look as if I had been dragged through a hedge by the time I got home! :-)
