Derwent Dam

Too nice a day to be holed up editing so took a short trip up county to the Derwent Dam area. Strangely its somewhere I haven't spent much time investigating, mainly due to getting distracted by the area before it probably. It was a cracking afternoon and pretty quiet. I visited the Möhne Dam back in the early 70's when I lived in Germany and this was the practice Dam for that operation.

Both nice locations and curiously familiar.
