Returning home

Both of our lifeboats were out this morning to reports of Cornish Luggers in trouble in two different places.

The Inshore went to reports of one drifting towards Porthminster, but found nothing & suspect that people were worried about one of the boats at anchor in th ebay, but all was OK

The All Weather Lifeboat went to a Lugger reported in difficulty at Pendeen. Sennen lifeboat ended up geting there first as we were both launched because the luger was also reported to have gone missing overnight, so we stayed with them for assistance while they tooke her under tow & recovered her anchor. It turned out that the lugger had lost/had problems with her sails in the night, & having no engine she went to anchor off Pendeen.
