Look who's home !

Maeve the Deerhound is home from the kennels.
Apparently it was very busy this past week and she didn't like it at all. She was looking very anxious as she bolted out to greet us. Oh dear!!
Still she is home, and brushed, and has had her usual walk to start her back into the routine she knows and is comfortable in.
The crop in the field where the bridle path is has been harvested so we could walk down the field today amongst the stubble. Maeve was off the lead, but decided not to go running about. She followed us all down the field like a shadow. She has been fast asleep all afternoon, tummy full of ham and cheese :-)

Later there has been mowing. The rain prevented it before we went away, so the front lawn was badly needing a mow :-(
