Bempton Cliff

On a lovely afternoon Richard suggested we had a ride to Bempton Cliffs. Despite a cool breeze along the cliff top it was a fantastic place to watch the sea birds. Having wandered from platform to platform I had only seen one Puffin through binoculars and too far away to photograph.

There was just one platform left and a decision had to be made. Should we carry on or return to the car. We carried on despite Jet trying to tell us it was past his tea time! So glad we did. The Mums were in the crevasses and the Dads were fishing but one solitary bird landed in front of the viewing platform. Hurray!

Have to admit to being seriously outgunned in the lens department. Never seen so many seriously big lenses complete with camouflage. But happy with my Puffin. The extra shows how space is at a premium when love is in the air.
