On the way to Appleby

We went into Keswick this morning and saw this collection of vans pulled onto a side road. Tomorrow they will head on towards Appleby Horse Fair. It is a huge gathering of travelling families which takes place every year.
Locals have mixed feelings about it and some motorists get a bit annoyed if they have to follow a horse-drawn van for miles. But the fair has been going on for long before cars were invented and it's only once a year.
