Driving through Shepherd's Bush this afternoon, we came across dozens of customised scooters and mopeds looking absolutely resplendent.

I counted twenty six headlights on one beast - amazing. The chrome was blinding in the afternoon sun. Not quite sure why they had congregated at that particular spot, but the owners loooked as cool as their machines. Bradley Wiggins would have fit right in.

We headed to the Southbank this evening to see the marvellous cantina at Underbelly. I heard someone describe it as cabaret as devised by Tim Burton. That about sums it up - weird, wonderful, sexy, baffling. No photography allowed unfortunately....
