The Soup Dragons
After a lunch break, which saw four plates of soup, three of which were home made, Ryan came up with the idea of the Thursday Soup Dragons. Each Thursday a member of staff brings in home made soup which we all eat at lunchtime
No rules other than, no meat or meat stock, and no saying what the soup is until the day of serving.
Today there was Parsnip and Apple from Gordon, Butternut Squash with Cream from Ryan, Tomato and Basil from Alasdair. Mr Blogs let the side down by having Heinz best.
As you can see we've made the draw and I'm first up - suddenly an office wheeze has turned in to a stress factory.
Do I go for wholesome or fine dinning?
Basic spicy lentil or Japanese clear broth with seaweed.
What's with all this 'verdict' stuff too?
It could end in tears!
