The Crammond Mussels...

Part of the process of recovering from a puncture en-route is making sure the substance that caused the puncture isn't body of the tyre somewhere waiting until you get back on bike to work it's way into the replaced inner tube.

Locating the offending article during this morning's puncture wasn't a problem seeing as the pinky nail sized sliver of mussel was embedded in the inner tube even after I yanked the tube out of the tyre.

I don't think I'll need to used water to find the hole to fix it this time.
