Some Stuff.

Adder

Today we drove to Veryan, a small village with some roundhouses (although we only found 1), to go for a walk. It was fairly overcast all day, which made for comfortable walking for me at least. The walk took us to a village called Portloe, which when we compared it to some photographs from 1901 that we had in our book, hasn't changed at all in a very long time (down near the harbour at least). We then walked up along the cliffs away from Portloe. Mum got a bit ahead of Me & Dad, while we waited for some French people to pass us on the narrow path, and we saw this small light brown snake (which I later identified as an Adder) crossing the path. It wasn't going too fast, so I managed to get a few decent shots of it. After we finished the walk, we ate our lunch in Veryan, and then had a stroll around to try and find some of the roundhouses, and eventually went into a cafe/art gallery. I had a hot chocolate while Mum had a cake. Then we went to pay, and spoke to the old man who did all the paintings, who was very chatty.
