Too Close for Comfort!.................

.....................It was quite bright early on (but is now very gloomy and spitting with rain) so went to a nearby lake and saw these swans. Am a bit wary of swans so stayed in the car with the window open. The cob approached with two cygnets
- made quite a nice picture - they wandered away and returned a little while later and as they got to within a couple of feet, I clicked again. The cob was not too keen on that (!) - so I shut the window rather speedily and just in time as he then struck the glass quite hard!! Gave me quite a shock - good job he hit the glass and not me!! Hope the two images tell the story.
Quite an adventure for a Friday morning.

Weather started out quite bright but is now very grey and is spitting with rain - perhaps it will brighten up later - lets hope so.
