Unexpected catch up

I see Christine a couple of times a year for coffee and a chat

She's my daughter's Godmother and we've been friends since 3 September 1969 when we started High School together

We had never been to the annual old girls' lunch since leaving school in June 1976

Liz and Jane had never been to a lunch before either - so here we are

36 years 3 months after the last time we'd have seen each other

we're doing it again next year if we can
