Nordic giant
Even non-mythical Scandinavian giants took shelter from the storm that battered the country last night and today. Gales of up to 65mph and up to a month's worth of rain has fallen in a single day. I think this means Autumn is here for sure.
You may remember my blip from last Wednesday which showed the Svanen Heavy Lift Vessel doing some maintenance on the wind farm. It came closer to land yesterday and I spotted it from further down the coast this afternoon and so took a drive out of my way to get a blip, which is unusual! This photo is taken at a range of just 2.5 km from a beach, whilst struggling to keep the camera still and having my face sandblasted simultaneously.
