How to get to your wedding in style

The bride, groom, bridesmaids, groomsmen and assorted rif-raf all rode from Buena Vista to the top of Cottonwood pass for the wedding ceremony - 20 miles and 4300 vertical feet to reach 12,129 ft.

The bride is appropriately attired in a bike skirt and veiled bike helmet. The groom and groomsmen had amazing bike jerseys printed to look like tuxedos.

I had a phenomenal time riding up with everyone. The weather was perfect, the trees were close to peak fall colors, the view from the top of the pass was astounding. The race down after the wedding is some of the most fun you can legally have - at one point I saw 51.2 mph on the gps.
